Arnav GuptaEager to learn, passionate about hardware, and driven to create.
I’m a Mechatronics Engineering student at the University of Waterloo with four internships across robotics, automotive manufacturing, energy, and hardware R&D. I am experienced with mechanical design, firmware development, PCB design, and end-to-end product development.
Experience
Hardware Engineer
Fourier Earth — Mountain View, CAJan — May 2026expand_more
Hardware Engineer
Designed and built an autonomous reverse-osmosis test platform to validate its integration into a commercial PEM electrolysis system and characterize its operating limits. Owned the full stack, including mechanical hardware, instrumentation, and Python control logic, while also designing a custom hydrogen crossover sensor in Altium.
The reverse-osmosis test stand with full terminal control and data logging.
Telemetry dashboard annotated to debug low/high pressure conditions
CAD model of the manifold plumbing for the UV light.
CAD model of the sensor plumbing manifold upstream of the RO.
PCB layout for the H2 in O2 sensor.

Built Spotfire dashboards that turned raw production and economic data into confident capital-expenditure decisions, surfacing high-value waterflood-conversion candidates for senior engineering.
Machine Designer
Musashi Auto Parts — Arthur, ONSep — Dec 2024expand_more
Machine Designer
Redesigned a tie-rod assembly line and engineered custom FANUC end-effectors in SolidWorks — cutting changeover 5×, improving cycle time 15%, and saving $500 per unit over commercial tooling.
Tie-rod assembly line layout, redesigned in SolidWorks.
Custom FANUC robot end-effector for part handling.
Full tooling assembly modelled around the cell.
Manufacturing drawing with full GD&T callouts.
